This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit reax.co or reax.dev (together, the "website") or write to us. It follows Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible

2. What we process, why, and on what legal basis
2.1 Delivering the website
When you open a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data to our server, in particular your IP address, the requested page, the time and your browser's user agent. We use this data only to deliver the page and to protect the server against attacks. Hosting infrastructure may keep technical security records. Its logging configuration and retention periods have not been fully verified, so we do not claim that all access logging is disabled or promise a particular infrastructure retention period. We do not use these records for visitor analytics.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure and working website.
2.2 Visitor statistics
We currently use no analytics or visitor statistics on this website. If we introduce privacy-friendly statistics in the future (for example Umami, self-hosted, without cookies), we will update this policy before we switch them on.
2.3 Contacting us
If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message to answer you. The interest form asks for a business contact name, company or operator name, business email address, EU processing country and interested tier. Its script processes these fields locally in your browser to prepare an email draft. The form does not upload the fields to our server, store them in browser storage or send an email automatically. Choosing Send by email opens your email app; we receive the inquiry only if you send it. You can also write directly to the published address. Your email service and our email provider process the message when it is sent. Please do not email identity documents, wallet secrets, service credentials or customer data. Any later verification needs an agreed secure channel and additional information about that process.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where you as a natural person are or want to become a party to a contract and your message relates to that contract or to steps before entering into it (for example, cooperating as a miner or validator). If you write to us as a contact person for a business, or in other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering enquiries and preparing a possible cooperation.
- Retention: inquiries that do not lead to cooperation are deleted within six months after the last contact, unless a legal claim is foreseeable or statutory retention applies. We keep qualifying business records only for the applicable statutory period: generally six years for business correspondence, eight years for accounting vouchers and ten years for books and accounts, subject to exceptions (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO). Records needed for a foreseeable claim are kept only for the necessary period.
2.4 No other tracking, no social media plug-ins
The website loads all fonts, scripts and images from our own server. It does not use advertising, tracking cookies, social media plug-ins or embedded third-party content. Links to other websites (for example System1 Models) only transfer data when you click them; after that, the privacy policy of the other website applies.
3. Recipients and processors
- Hosting: The website uses hosting infrastructure supplied by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The address identifies the provider, not the server location. Exact data-centre location and company-party contractual coverage are still being verified; this policy does not assert that a company data-processing agreement has been confirmed.
- Email: our email provider handles inquiries you choose to send. The host operator, processing locations and company-party contractual coverage have not yet been confirmed.
- We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone for advertising.
- Where the law requires it, we pass data to public authorities (for example, to law enforcement on a court order).
4. Transfers outside the EU
Website assets are self-hosted and the interest form makes no server upload. We have not confirmed every hosting or email processing location and therefore do not guarantee EU/EEA-only processing. Email inquiries involve your email service and our email provider. Do not send sensitive or regulated information through this inquiry path. Any later document-verification process or network routing needs separate reviewed information and applicable transfer arrangements before it is enabled.
This website does not connect to a wallet or submit blockchain transactions. REAX network participation is not live. Before registration opens, separate participation information will explain public blockchain records and the processing involved.
5. Is providing data required?
You can read the website without giving us any personal data beyond what your browser technically transmits. Contacting us is voluntary; without your email address we cannot answer.
6. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16),
- have your data erased (Art. 17),
- restrict processing (Art. 18),
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
- object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). We will then stop processing unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds or need the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections (TLS).
9. Changes
We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always available here, with its date at the top.
